Hawthorn Surgery – Singing for Health

Posted by: ethan - Posted on:

Hawthorn Surgery would like to invite patients of Hawthorn and Whitehall surgeries to attend an open Singing Group on Wednesdays at 1pm – 2pm led by local musician Alice Nicholls.

Think you can’t sing? Don’t worry! You don’t need to be able to read music; the aim of the Group is simply to have fun and promote good health through singing, in a relaxed and stress-free environment.

The health benefits of singing are well-known and this Group will contribute to an understanding of how singing regularly can promote good health and wellbeing.

The Group will break up on Wednesday 3rd November 2021 and will re-start on Wednesday 5th January 2022.

There is no need to book – the Group is informal so just turn up at Hawthorn Surgery, 2nd Floor, Wortley Beck Health Centre – all ages welcome! There will be a charge of £1 per session.
