Singing for Health
Hawthorn Surgery would like to invite patients to attend an open Singing Group on Wednesdays at 2pm – 3pm led by local musician Alice Nicholls. Think you can’t sing? Don’t worry! You don’t need to be able to read music; the aim of the Group is simply to have fun and promote good health through singing, in a relaxed and stress-free environment.
The first Singing session will be on Wednesday 6th September 2017, at Hawthorn Surgery at from 2pm to 3pm.
The health benefits of singing are well-known and this new Group will contribute to an understanding of how singing regularly can promote good health and wellbeing.
There is no need to book – the Group is informal so just turn up – all ages welcome! There will be a charge of £1 per session. If interested please leave your name and telephone number with one of the Reception Staff.
