A recent scam has targeted patients with emails claiming to be from their GP surgery, asking them to update their details or risk having their registration cancelled. These emails often direct patients to download software or visit suspicious websites to provide personal information. However, GP practices will never ask patients to install software or visit unknown websites to update details.
